Version 10 Quietly Released?

I noticed today, that if you download the live installer for ESET AV, the file version number is 10.0.5.0. Does this mean that Version 10 has been officially released? (I have not actually run the installer, so I cannot confirm what version of ESET the live installer will pull.)

 

On the "advanced download" page, version 9.0.386 is the latest version available to download (although 9.0.402 is the latest version).

 

If Version 10 is live, can it be installed as a direct upgrade over 9.0.402, or do we need to uninstall V9 first?

You can install it over the top although I recommend using the

ESET Uninstaller to get rid of the old version and all its remnants and install the new version from a clean slate

I just tried running the latest live installer and it still installed NOD32 v9.0.386

V10 has released in 2 or 3 language versions so far. The latest English version is 9.0.386 which can be upgraded via the program to 9.0.402.
