dougieles 0 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Running Windows 10. Prompted to restart PC to set up the above version. After this was done noticed that Personal Firewall, IDS, and Botnet Protection was "non functional". How do I get them "functional" again?

If another reboot did not help, The 1st (easiest) thing I would try is doing a repair of ESS via control panel>programs. If that doesn't work, an uninstall and re-install might be in order.
