Support for Windows XP end of life in 2014

Recommended Posts

Yes !

Fantastic, as I have a problem upgrading to windows 7 or 8, I just do not like the feel of it and many applications that I use are XP dependent.

Do you have a link to the ESET corp release of that information?

Also, as an aside and I am not sure this has been considered, maybe & probably it has.  But has the management of ESET thought about providing

additonal exploit protection in their software, that typically would have been provided by MS as part of their regular security updates?

Thanks for taking the time to respond

Hmmm...Not sure, but the new Vulnerability Shield in V7 (only in ESS) could be a good contender for this I guess. We haven't heard much about how VS works or it's exact purpose, but I am sure ESET can tell us some more if we ask kindly?
