Intenet connection problems due to web-acces protection

Web access protection is causing problems with my internet connection.

 

This problem arises when web access protection is switched on in all browser, but when I use a VPN Add-on for Firefox (ZenMate) the problem doesn't arise, any other users having this problem?

 

I already contacted Eset Netherlands, this is what we have done so far
 

  • Uninstall and reinstall
  • Clear update cache
  • Install Beta Updates
  • Install English version of Eset Cyber Security

My system Specifications are:

 

Mac OS X 10.11.6 (15G31) (64-bit)

Darwin (15.6.0)

Intel ® Core i5-2415M CPU @ 2.30 GHz (2300 Mhz), 8192 MB RAM

 

Product: Eset Cyber Security 6.2.6.0

 

I also tried to download the 6.6.2.6.1 release which should be available but I can only download the 6.2.6.0 version.

 

Any suggestion and or a hot-fix are more than welcome

The version difference with 6.2.6.0 and 6.2.6.1 is only language/region related (see this topic), so 6.2.6.0 is still the latest in this case.

 

Strange that this issue is happening with Cyber Security and not Cyber Security Pro (which includes the firewall). Do you have any other network related third-party tools/apps installed on your Mac (Little Snitch, GlimmerBlocker, etc.)? Does the issue occur on HTTPS sites as well or just over HTTP? Can you describe your issue in more detail?
