Eyobaa_ 0
why is eset not detecting this worms? I know that its new but the signature developer must sniff for new patterns. I scan it in virusTotal and its detection ratio is 22/55 so please add its signature on the next virus update engine.... I can't believe eset miss this its my fav antivirus on this digital world! Administrators Marcos 4,713 Posted July 25, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 25, 2016 Have you submitted this sample to ESET? Could you post a link to VirusTotal scan results? Still, it's not clear yet if the script is supposed to be detected so without getting and analyzing it it's possible to tell. Also ESET may protect users otherwise than by detecting the script directly. Last but not least, there's no security solution detects 100% of malware and other vendors miss much more dangerous stuff that ESET protects their users from. itman 1,542
Actually, Eset does have a signature for it: hxxp://www.virusradar.com/en/JS_Bondat.E/description . Suspect this is possibly a new 0-day variant. How did you know it was JS/Bondat.E if Eset didn't detect it? Edited July 25, 2016 by itman
