diegoacquani 1 Posted July 6, 2016 Share Posted July 6, 2016 Dear All, in our company we use since 1 year ESET Remot Administrator Server and since now it worked very well. But now we have a problem with the ERA Agent: We formatteted and old pc with Widnows XP SP3 and when we deploy the agent from the Server the task starts then the server shows "Task finished successfully" but on the pc the Agent isn't installed (no ESET folder under C:\Program Files\ and no Programs to uninstall from the Control Panel) and the proccess, obviusly, doesn't exist. I've already read the KB hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3630/?locale=en_US and the Troubleshooting https://help.eset.com/era_admin/63/en-US/index.html?fs_agent_deploy_troubleshooting.htm I checked all the reasons that are wrote there. Here the features: It's the first time that it happened a problem like this. How can I do to fix it? Arnost 0 Posted July 7, 2016 Share Posted July 7, 2016 I downloaded ERA installer from hxxp://repository.eset.com/v1/com/eset/apps/business/era/agent/v6/6.3.136.0/Agent_x64.msi and find out, that signature certificate is not valid. But there's another problem: And if I install the software manually and i tried to activeted from ERAS: And also if I try to activate manually it gave me an error. What's the problem?? ESET Staff MartinK 384 Posted July 7, 2016 ESET Staff Share Posted July 7, 2016 Software installation failed because it was not able to download installation package from repository.eset.com. This specific error indicates some kind of network problem .. maybe it is not even able to resolve DNS name. Activation failed, because it was executed before security product installation was detected. Is this AGENT already reporting any endpoint security related data, for example virus database version?
