Sarvesh Singh 1 Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Does SQL server requires genuine license? Is there any article or kb link on this?
ESET Staff Gonzalo Alvarez 66 Posted June 30, 2016 ESET Staff Posted June 30, 2016 Hi @Sarvesh Singh, As far as I know, nop. If you are trying to install ERAv6, I suggest you use the "All-in-one" package is the most easiest way, because all you need is there. hxxp://help.eset.com/era_install/63/en-US/index.html?installation.htm If just need SQL use the above link, section "Database" on the column on your left.
jimwillsher 65 Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Supplied installer uses SQL express, which does not require license. If you already have SQL installed then ERA can use that (I'm using it with SQL 2016 Ent)

ESET Insiders rekun 43 Posted July 1, 2016 ESET Insiders Posted July 1, 2016 SQL express which is included in Eset is free, and you can download it for free from Microsofts site directly
