dynamic group

Dears:

I want to know how to group my client based on ip address range (specific subnet) ..
I've tried to add dynamic group template with the following expression :

Operation = AND
Rule 1 = Network ip address --->Ip subnetwork =network address e.g 192.168.1.0
Rule 2 = Network ip address ---> Network address type = ipv4

then i add the new dynamic group and select the template i have created
But ,no date available on the group menu ..so plz advice what was the wrong on the steps above ..
