Recommended Posts

Would love to start testing on macOS 10.12. Has a roadmap been published for the next version of macOS?

Hello Interos,

We do not have currently an open BETA for ESET Cyber Security (Pro) – our product for macOS, but we plan one in the future, it will be announced via the ESET Security Forum as well.

Regards, P.R.

I see that 6.2.6.0 now works in macOS Sierra. It shows a message in the installer saying it's only intended for use up to 10.11 but gives you an option to continue.

Cheers, will report any issues I find.

It doesn't for me.  It says that my version of OSX is unsupported and to download latest release which I am already on.  No continue option.

Unfortunately, ESET doesn't usually support or release compatible versions for pre-release versions of macOS and typically releases a new or updated version alongside macOS when the stable release is made public by Apple.

I am also able to install and run ESET Cyber Security Pro v6.2.6.0 on macOS Sierra 10.12 Beta 5 but ESET's "Real-time file system protection" is disabled. When I attempt to enable this setting, Mac to crash and reboot. The setting remains disabled after the reboot. Currently I have not figured anyways to enabled "Real-time file system protection".

Running MacOS 10.12 RC/GM but still no compatibility for ESET Cyber Security Pro v6.2.6.0. For those who were able to install, what was your tweak in MacOS 10.12?

I'm anticipating an update for ESET CSP Mac Edition when MacOS 10.12 will be seeded to the public the 20th this month. What's the status ATM?

Cheers

Thanks for the - on time - update ESET, so let's wait when Apple will seed the final release of MacOS 10.12 Sierra to the public today! I noticed that the GM is no longer available in the MAS...

New GUI installer ees_osx_cs.dmg does not work for me with Sierra. I tried to use terminal but with the same problem (sudo installer -pkg Installer.pkg -target /

installer: Package name is ESET Endpoint Security
installer: Upgrading at base path /
installer: The upgrade failed (Instalátor narazil na chybu, která způsobila selhání instalace. Požádejte výrobce softwaru o asistenci.))
