Maxx2777 0 Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 One user forwarded an email to five internal recipients. All five recipients had email intercepted by the Mail Server Filter and moved to users Outlook Infected Items folder per settings. Why didn't Mail Security intercept this incoming email initially when she received it from the external source? Thanks.
ESET Staff Gonzalo Alvarez 66 Posted June 25, 2016 ESET Staff Posted June 25, 2016 Hi @Maxx2777, For start: the mail have an attachment? Do you save the attachment (if yes he have) and upload to VirusTotal or analyze by ESET to seeif is malicious? whats was the origin of the mail In kind of cases is highly suggest you contact ESET Support directly because perhaps is a new threat, or a bad configuration in some place, and I'm sure they want to take a close look at your case.
Administrators Marcos 5,450 Posted June 28, 2016 Administrators Posted June 28, 2016 Do you have scanning of internal messages for malware enabled ? See hxxp://help.eset.com/emsx/6/en-US/index.html?idh_config_av_agent2.htm for more information.
