Have you carried out a full disk scan and no malware was found? Does temporarily disabling real-time protection or any other protection module make a difference?

Are we getting close to releasing Version 10?

Just curious. :)

Be patient Joe... :P

Sorry Tom. Patience does not exist in my dictionary.

  • 2 weeks later...

My computer also went very slow. The issue was having HitmanPro.ALERT installed in combination with trying to use the ESET Banking protection feature. Every time I clicked the Banking protection tile/link, my CPU activity increased by about 17%. So after several clicks, the CPU was 100% and the computer unusable. Uninstalling HMP Alert solved this issue.
