Pedro Henrique 0
Hello, My name's Pedro. Lately, MANY customers was getting the ECP.4099 error, after they activate our ESET product. ECP.4099 Already changed their DNS, connection, tried connection via 3g from their Smartphones, tested their product keys, verified firewall, windows defender, connection to ESET activation IP (ping MANY IPs from the KB332 list, all with 0 package loss) and still I can't activate. I really don't know what to do to help our customers. Some of our clients after this failed attempt, has returned from v9 to v8, and they activated ESET product without any problems. So, it's something wrong happening with some clients, only with products v9 and I don't know why. Thank you very much, Pedro.
ESET Moderators Peter Randziak 1,084 Posted June 22, 2016 ESET Moderators Share Posted June 22, 2016 Hello Pedro, Most of the cases is caused by incorrect proxy settings, issues with Internet connection and in case of older systems like XP by missing root certificates as well. Regards, P.R.
