kubasz 0
I wish to have policies that make Local update (from lan source) when client is in lan, but when client leave lan (lan source is unreachable) then client should to update antivirus base from eset internet sources. I made two policies Lan Update (with lan source) and Internet Update (with Choose automaticaly - on and update server - autoselect.) Lan update is first, Internet update second... and always Internet update works (even in lan). what I done wrong?
ESET Staff MartinK 375 Posted June 8, 2016 ESET Staff Share Posted June 8, 2016 What is logic of applying polices to client? Based on some dynamic group? For scenarios like this, I would suggest to use dual profile for updating described in hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3621/-> manual is focused on HTTP Proxy configuration, but it should work also for you if you correctly specify profiles priority. kubasz 0
Now I understand, I should configure 'My profile' as Lan update and then add new profile 'Internet update', and set default 'My profile' - right?
