TropicalCoder 0 Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, purchased in the box. All versions of Windows thereafter were created to further Microsoft's own agenda. I don't trust Microsoft's agenda. I block every Windows update related to the update to Windows 10, which is tedious because I have to look up each one and sometimes it is not clear what an update may be for. I de-select each, then with right-mouse click, select "Hide". Then the next patch Tuesday roles around there are these updates being offered again! Microsoft is certainly persistent. They really, really want me to give up my Windows 7 and surrender to the Borg. Resistance so far anyhow is NOT futile. I will never surrender! They will have to pry it from my cold, dead hands.
Most Valued Members shocked 60 Posted July 1, 2016 Most Valued Members Posted July 1, 2016 MS announced that they'll release an update to the W10 App that resides in the taskbar. that update will include a "Decline Offer" option. hxxp://www.winbeta.org/news/microsoft-changing-confusing-windows-10-upgrade-prompt-criticism
