gymmbo 0
Is there a way to prevent multiple egui.exe processes from running on a server? It is eating memory even if a user is disconnected and not active on the box.
Administrators Marcos 5,231 Posted May 19, 2016 Administrators Share Posted May 19, 2016 A separate egui process is run in each user's session. If you have EFSW v6 installed, in the User interface setup set "Start mode" from "Full" to "Silent" which will make egui not to run. You will be able to start it from the Start menu with administrator rights only. If you have protocol filtering disabled and users browse the Internet, I'd strongly recommend enabling it after installing this hotfix: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2664888
gymmbo 0
We are still on the older version of ESET due to initial issues when we were evaluating v6 of EFSW and it would randomly render our server unavailable. Is there a silent mode for v4.5.1? I am looking around but I want to make sure I select the correct option (if available).
