Hi, I need to pause my protection everytime I use my HP officejet pro 8610, for printing through MYOB and sometimes scanning or emailing.

Which settings can I change, thanks

Instead of pausing all protection modules at once, pause each one separately to narrow it down. Does pausing firewall or real-time protection make a difference?

Might be an issue with SSL protocol scanning as noted in this article: hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3487/ . Note article is for ver. 8 so you will have to find like settings in ver. 9 if your using that ver..

Thanks, but I am on version 9 so that link does not relate to me, too confusing. 

Pausing each one separately is what I am doing at present, such a pain! Also pausing firewall does nothing, its already has permission. 

Any other suggestions ??

Does temporarily disabling protocol filtering in the advanced setup make a difference? What about switching to pre-release updates in the advanced update setup?
