Henry 0
Hello, I am new in this forum, recently bought a licence and pretty happy with it. I have a question. Why would explorer.exe randomly wants to get access to egui.exe?? I'm not even at the computer doing anything at the time. Also there other process like csrss.exe and svchost.exe that periodically wants to get access to Eset's stuff. Please tell me is that normal windows fuctions? The scans all shows 0 threat and all seems to work perfectly. Thank you. log.txt
Solution itman 1,629 Posted May 12, 2016 Solution Share Posted May 12, 2016 Yes, that is normal Win OS behavior. Explorer.exe is a shell that runs at startup which controls applications that interact with the desktop. Equi.exe does so by use of a toolbar icon and communication to the desktop using alert pop-up windows.

Administrators Marcos 4,919 Posted May 13, 2016 Administrators Share Posted May 13, 2016 Most likely you enabled logging of blocked operations in the advanced HIPS setup. This should be disabled unless troubleshooting an issue with HIPS blocking some operations.
