ESS 8 integration in Thunderbird ?

Hi,

 

I used Windows Live Mail with Windows 7 and had the choice to integrate Eset Smart Security.

Went on to Thunderbird and ESS doesn't propose integration of that mail client.

Is this normal ?

Yes, that is normal behavior. Eset doesn't support Thunderbird's latter versions as far as browser integration goes.

As long as you receive email through the POP3(S) or IMAP(S) protocols, email will be scanned for threats regardless of the email client you use. It' basically just antispam that won't work.
