Guest Looking 4 Answer
Whenever I update ESET it ends in an error. The "help" menu says it is because I lost my internet connect. That is incorrect. My interconnect is operating normally and the ESET update always returns an error. I used my ESET backup disk in an effort to reload it. The back up disk reports I have a newer version installed and closes when I click finish. I tried a few more times and came to a reload menu. I clicked reload and same thing. You have a newer version installed, click finished and closed. I want to at least reload it. I can't find the original ESET 5 disk, but it uploaded to ESET 6 along the way. How can I handle this? SweX 871
Maybe it's just me, but are you seeing the "error" when you are trying to update the VSD (Virus signature database). OR when you are updating the whole program e.g from V5 --> V6 ? If it is the first, then try with cleaning out your "update cache"(in the setup tree), and then try to update again. But also follow what Marcos said above! Edited August 25, 2013 by SweX
