Licence Problem with Eset Mail Security

Hello,

We use Eset Endpoint Security Nod 32 v 5.x and Eset Mail Security v 4.3x

After extension of our licences, nod works super, but mail security not.

On the one hand recognizes the software the new date, but on the other hand it says the lices is run out... (see picture)

Even a restart didn't solve the Problem...

 

I don't understand what is going on... Can anybody help me?

Maybe just a gui glitch? Is the discrepancy there even after a server restart (if possible)? At least try closing gui by holding Shift and clicking X and then launch it from the Start menu.

Also I'd strongly recommend upgrading EMSX to v6.3 which supports new features (including LiveGrid) for quick reaction to new threats.

What is needed to be done is to also update the license file, in the ESET Mail Security application as it is not possible to update it automatically, by renewing the license.

This would be my first tip, on how to resolve this issue.  The "license valid until" is get from expiration servers, and tells you when the username / password expires, however EMSX also uses a license file, to enable the mail filtering functionality. When you update / replace the license (.lic) file in the application, it should get back to normal.

Thank you! In the enhanced preferrences I found the possibility to upload the lic file. This solved my issue!
