CTSI 0 Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 When I try to update the Virus Signature Database for ESET File Security on Windows server 2012, I am getting the error message "Virus Signature database update ended with an error General Compiler error.". I have already gone to "Setup>advanced setup>update>general>Clear Update Cache>and clicked Clear" but I am still getting the General Compiler error every time I try to update.
