jmp242 0 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I'm trying to create a dynamic group to run the ERA6.3 triggered uninstaller. I am migrating from Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 on Windows 7 x64 SP1. I've created a Dynamic Group template with AND (All conditions have to be true) Rules Installed software . Application name contains Symantec Endpoint Protection as well as Installed software . Application name contains Symantec. It doesn't seem to ever match and run the uninstaller. I end up with both SEP and EES running on the test computer. I can manually push the uninstall task on a computer and that does seem to work. What am I doing wrong here?
Administrators Marcos 5,468 Posted March 29, 2016 Administrators Posted March 29, 2016 Do you mean that no computers ever fall into this dynamic group or that the uninstall task assigned to the group is never executed?
ESET Staff MartinK 384 Posted March 30, 2016 ESET Staff Posted March 30, 2016 Are you AGENT's configured to collect list of all applications, not only ESET as is default? You can go to client details view of specific client and check what contains list of installed application. In case it does not contain specified product, you have to change AGENT's configuration to collect ESET application using configuration policy.
