avielc 55
Hi everyone. i'd like to disable ESET endpoint products from starting the application with an icon on the dock. In my opinion it may bother people who like a cleaner look of their desktop and would find it easier to right click -> quit it. Can we add it to the policy? Thank you. avielc 55
@Michal This option already exists in the current Mac Client. I'm asking to integrate that Second option "Present Application in Dock", inside the policy so Users will not have to see it pop up at the dock when they start the computer. Regards. ESET Staff Solution MichalJ 434 Posted March 17, 2016 ESET Staff Solution Share Posted March 17, 2016 Yes, as of now, those settings are integrated in the client, but as they are "per user settings" and not "global settings", they are not configurable in the policy. We are changing this, so they will be configurable from ERA, as is in the case of Windows client software. Per other changes, we are working mostly on fixing issues with the web protection module, and stability issues with browsing.
