ekrn.exe keeps crashing every time NOD32 detects a virus/troja in e-mail.

post-11352-0-74510100-1457446116_thumb.png

After threat is found, crash follows.

I am using Windows 10 64bit (one day old clean install), latest Thunderbird (38.6.0) and latest NOD32 Antivirus (9.0.375.0).

Thunderbird is using IMAP.

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

What can be done, what are my options to get this working?

If I can provide any more info, just ask.

Thank you!

Please continue as follows:

- open the advanced ESET setup

- navigate to Tools -> Diagnostics

- change dump type to Full and click OK

- reproduce the crash

- compress the content of the C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\Diagnostics folder, upload the archive to a safe location and pm me the download link.

OK, did that.

Please let me know when you have them so I can delete the files from server. Thank you!

Any info about this issue?

What can be done to prevent ekrn.exe from crashing?

Or is it a bug in NOD32 that must be patched by ESET?
