Hozza12163 0
I've just tried to submit a suspicious .zip file and get an error - "failed to submit 1 file for analysis" It has always worked previously
Administrators Marcos 4,694 Posted August 16, 2013 Administrators Share Posted August 16, 2013 Maybe the file is too large to submit. I'd recommend following the instructions in this KB article for submitting files for analysis.

Thanks for the tip but it's only 120kb - new defs just came through and detected it as Win32/Kryptik.BIDJ I am still unable to submit anything at all of any size? Administrators Marcos 4,694 Posted August 16, 2013 Administrators Share Posted August 16, 2013 I've tested submissions via the program's gui and it worked like a charm. Try restarting your computer. At any rate, the preferred way of submitting actually suspicious or infected files is by email due to a huge number of irrelevant stuff that people submit via the built-in form. siljaline 57
I can submit files via the UI but need to have hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN531 ThreatSense enabled.Presumably this would apply to those with hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN3179 LiveGrid ?
