Eset doesnt activate properly and BSOD's

Recommended Posts

I have bought a new physical license to go along with my new Laptop and today I've started installing it but I've ran into pretty big problems.

Specs:

Produktname: ESET Smart Security
Produktversion: 9.0.349.15
Betriebssystem: Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
Computer: Intel® Core i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz

Model: Acer Predator G9-791-78PE

It first started up the .exe from the CD normally and then BSOD'd at the activation screen, stating "IRQL not less or equal", after that the system restarted itself.

After passing the boot up, I quickly started up, ESET activated my Key and passed but the Computer name was left empty and it asked for a password, which I didnt setup on the other Laptop / Eset. post-11008-0-97254300-1455992817_thumb.png
Then Eset didnt even popup in the "Programs and Features" and I couldnt uninstall it anywhere and I was forced to reset the computer.
I first installed everything I needed and proceded to install ESET last but the same things happened, no Computername, BSOD, and no activation despite acccepting the key.

Do you have any solution for me?

Thanks and best regards

Most of time I am trying to activate Eset in a client's PC, it shows an error. However if I try to activate Eset 8, it activates easily but in 9's case, the error shows up. Client's internet line is also fine. Kindly provide a solution.
