winstonsmith84 2
I'm finding that this file is being detected as malware and being quarantined on several machines. It's for Intel integrated graphics. Why is Eset calling this malware? So far it doesn't appear to have caused any issues by being quarantined but why is it even happening? ESET Moderators Aryeh Goretsky 366 Posted August 14, 2013 ESET Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2013 Hello, Can you tell us which version of the virus signature database your ESET software is using, and what malware was detected in the igfxsrvc.exe file? Arakasi 549
Because malware likes to hijack that file which is common. I have seen it before, have you tried taking same exe from a box outside your network and replacing to see if still gets quarantined? Just thinkin out loud.
