uktotty 0
No that's no good, I remove the URL, disable the script, click save and it comes back. I need to remove the reason it's trying to go there.
Administrators Marcos 4,707 Posted February 9, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 9, 2016 Maybe your computer is infected with some adware or malware that keeps enabling it. Please create a Process monitor log from the time when you disable automatic proxy configuration and it re-enables without your intervention. Does the setting re-enable immediately after you disable it or after some time? If the latter, does it also happen with the computer disconnected from the network? ESET Staff Gonzalo Alvarez 66 Posted February 9, 2016 ESET Staff Share Posted February 9, 2016 Hi @uktotty, Reset all the installed browsers in the machine, after that edit the Properties of every link to a browser and be sure only the .exe is listed like "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe". Any extra text there, deleted. This is just in case you don't do it yet.
