jst1 0
Hello fellow ESET users. Recently, my computer detected an installation of jGrasp's winconfig & winconfignt executable files to be a variant of Win32/Kryptik.JIV (jGrasp is a Java Programming IDE, found at hxxp://www.jgrasp.org. After it subsequently deleted and quarantined the files, I compared their known sizes with that of a legitimate installation, and they were the same. Additionally, this detection only occurred recently, while the files have existed, and stayed unmodified, for months. Was this a false positive detection? Administrators Marcos 5,231 Posted February 5, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2016 Please submit the detected file to ESET as per the instructions at hxxp://support.eset.com/kb141/. I've downloaded and scanned both executables but neither was detected by ESET.
