Future wish: Email client protection

Hi,

 

it would be nice to have a feature to block spam mails according to attachments (name or extensions) or block mails according to the regard. (with wildcards)

 

Like "Your bill from:*****". So we will have the chance to block new unknown spam/virus mails like it is since last week.

 

Every day a mass of spam mails with risky DOC attachments.

It's possible to block certain file attachments by type in ESET Mail Security v6 but with documents it's not possible as almost everybody receives legitimate emails with documents attached.

yes this is true, but if the mail is already on the client, the mail security wont help.

 

Is there a possibility to block spezial regards (with wild cards)?

That's not possible. Rules based on files names are inefficient as the names of infected attachments vary a lot and blocking all documents based on the file extension would not be an acceptable option either.

Not file name, i mean regard/subject line from the mail.
