bbraunstein 27
Bump. I could use this answer too. I am currently on 6.1.530 and would like to upgrade within the next week or so.
Administrators Marcos 5,407 Posted January 22, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 22, 2016 I'd suggest carrying on as follows: 1, Download the new ERA Server and ERA Web Console installation files. 2, Install ERA Server over the previous version. 3, Stop the ERA Server and Tomcat services. 4, Delete or rename the current "era" folder in the "webapps" subfolder in the Tomcat folder. 5, Place era.war to the Tomcat folder. 6, Start both the ERAS and Tomcat services. Wait a while until era.war extracts and that's all. You can connect to the ERA console then.
Former ESET Employees Timos 8 Posted January 25, 2016 Former ESET Employees Share Posted January 25, 2016 5, Place era.war to the Tomcat folder. Better solution for step 5 is: Rename era.war to era.zip. Rename "era" in webapps to "era_backup". Extract era.zip in to "era" in webapps Why? If Apache Tomcat is installed by All in one installer (Setup.exe), Tomcat runs as network service, so it cannot write to disk, thus it cannot extract era.war package into webapps.
