Hi! Anyone else experiencing problems with some websites? Since last El Capitan 10.11.3 update i can't open some websites not just in safari but in any web browser.

I've found this topic and the correct answer points to Eset installation, after uninstalled it everything was right. Then i reinstalled it and after the reboot the problem was back, but disabling internet traffic control on ESET menu option, i can access the "problematic" websites, but still fell my connection slow.

Thanks in advance, and hope the team found a fast solution to the problem.

Apple Support is now aware of this issue and is advising uninstall Eset to correct until Eset issues update for compatibility with El Capitan 10.11.3

An updated Internet Protection Module was released earlier this morning, which addresses the issue. We've updated our Alert which states that this update should be pushed through automatically through the normal update process.

If you'd like to update now, you should clear your update cache and update using the steps here: hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3173/

Again, we are sorry for the disruption this caused. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.

I started having problems immediately after the 10.11.3 update and spent most of yesterday trying to sort out the issues like USB hard disk not being recognised, email accounts not accessible and some websites being blocked. I spent today taking a one hour each way train trip to my closest Apple Store in Lyon, France. Four hours and four Genius Bar experts later we discovered that uninstalling Eset solved the problem. It would have been nice to know about this issue earlier. I don't think I will bother to reinstall it.

I had to remove the antivirus to be able to use the internet. I wonder, if I reinstall the eset cybersecurity again, the problem will appear again? I need to download another version?

Hi Marcelo. I had to remove it too, but as the moderator said, they released an update, just to be sure, i downloaded the same version (Cyber Security Pro) and installed it again, waited for it to update its database signature, restarted and everything is fine until now...

Hope you solve your problem too.

Best regards.

I'm not safe to install again.

I think, the Eset need to speak about it or launch an official note of what happened with the correction.

Best,
