Timur 0
Hello. I'm a bit newbie to ERA so maybe my question a bit easy for ERA professionals. Issues is that I've accidentally installed ESET Antivirus 6 with wrong language pack on computers in my organisation. Is there anyway to update it without uninstalling and installing again ESET? Thank you in advance.
Administrators Marcos 4,715 Posted January 16, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 16, 2016 While you can change the language of the ERA console on the fly, this is not possible with Endpoint. Each language version has its own installers. You'll need to uninstall Endpoint and install the desired language version from scratch. As long as agent will remain installed, it shouldn't cause any issues with deployment.

ESET Staff MichalJ 430 Posted January 21, 2016 ESET Staff Share Posted January 21, 2016 Yes, uninstallation requires reboot of the computer. So basically the process should be: - uninstall the Endpoint product in the wrong language (check the option "automatically reboot when needed") - wait for the computer to report back to ERA, and install Endpoint product again, in the correct language (restart won´t be required)
