21jags 0
One of our customer uses some software which is on External drive. ESET detect that file as threat. When we exclude the file in ESET application it's work fine. But when we restart system or reinsert external drive exclusion doesn't work. Note : Drive letter of External hard drive always remain same when inserted or system restart.
Administrators Marcos 5,407 Posted January 14, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 14, 2016 Exclusion on removable drives won't work as they are mounted with a different kernel path next time. Also it wouldn't be safe as removable drives can be connected to other computers and files on them cannot be trusted for this reason either.
