Just had a malware spam email using email address from here

I have a simple forwarding system for my emails, domain@mydomain

 

I just had a spam email containing malware to my eset.co.uk@ email address.

 

Has Eset or any of it's suppliers been hacked?

Strange, we received some malware spam in our business email address which is registered with ESET this morning too. Hate to think that ESET had been hacked.

Technically you can fake the sender so I doubt this was the case of ESET been hacked.

Anyway, you just capture those messages and forward for analysis to the lab.

More likely to be this forum that has leaked somehow. I've had more spam today. This is the reason I use forwarders and never give out my actual email address. I can just change the forwarder.
