DennisOperator 0 Posted December 6, 2015 Share Posted December 6, 2015 Hi I run Windows 10 64bit and I had installed ESET ESS 8 64bit. I do not remember the exact version but I have the setup (exe file) and has in properties the Revision Number {B90044C0-457C-48EE-A03A-17E80166A654}. After expiration date, in each startup of my PC there was a blue pop up saying that my license expired and if I want to renew or uninstall. So, as this was quite irritating, I uninstall the program, from the add remove functionality of windows, but after I restart my pc the popup is still shown (and in each restart) even if ESET ESS is uninstalled already. In this popup there is an uninstall button that opens the Add/Remove panel of Windows 10. I do not think that such a behavior is serious from ESET so if you are taking your potential customers serious provide me a solution. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Do you mean that you're unable to install ESET in the standard way as described at hxxp://www.windowscentral.com/how-to-uninstall-apps-windows-10 for instance? The unistaller prompt me after finishing for a restart.I restart but the popup of eset appeared. And it still appears every time I start my PC. Also is ekrn.exe or egui.exe among running processes in the Task manager? Also create a new folder (e.g. c:\eset), run the following command from there and post the file esetdir.txt here: dir /s "C:\Program Files\ESET" > esetdir.txt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
