Linux scan with Windows NOD32

I know linux antivirus (including nod32) are often used to scan linux files but also windows files (servers...).

But is the reverse also possible?

Is that the windows version is capable of detecting unix viruses if it has access to Linux files?

There's no difference between a Windows and Linux scanner in terms of detection.
