kdb 1 Posted October 27, 2015 Share Posted October 27, 2015 I tested the anti-theft function on my daughter's laptop by click the "My device is missing" button in the Anti-Theft management web protal. The laptop rebooted into the phantom account. I attempted to restore it normal by click the "I recovered my device" but only the phantom account is displayed at login. The laptop shows "not missing" in the Anti-Theft management portal, however I continue to see new screen captures and webcam snapshots every 10 minutes.desperate to restore access to main account! Turn on the problematic laptop and wait. ESET should start taking photos and data. Using the other computer, mark as not-missing and wait. If nothing happen, make a Turn off, 1 min wait, turn on.
