jerry@riggin.net 0
Hi, All. I'm using Nod32 on my laptops, and I want it to wake them up for a scan, which the ESET schedulerr will NOT do, with Windows 7 Task Manager WILL wake the computer for a task. Problem is: I don't know what commands and args to enter into Windows 7 Task Manager to execute what I have named "Nightly Scan". Has anyone successfully done this? Thanks! ESET Moderators TomasP 318 Posted October 29, 2015 ESET Moderators Share Posted October 29, 2015 Hello, You can't launch a pre-defined scan or another feature of the product by running an external command, you can only run those manually in the GUI or using the built-in scheduler. However, you can run a scan using a separate command-line utility "ecls.exe" (ESET Command Line Scanner) which has no GUI and accepts parameters, so it can be launched externally by a third-party tool. You can read more on its usage and on the accepted parameters here: hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3417/
