ESS v9 Banking Protection and HitManPro.Alert

This problem was first mentioned with the beta-testing of V9; https://forum.eset.com/topic/5480-cannot-use-banking-protection-in-ess-v9/

 

I can confirm that in the official release, banking protection will again not launch unless HMP.Alert 3 is uninstalled.

 

 

"From my observations and testing, it seems that the keystroke encryption in any other security app that you may use is what prevents ESET's Banking & Payment Protection from starting. You may want to look in this area for conflicts."

I'm NOT uninstalling HMP.Alert as it does a great job at protecting my system from ransomware .....Is there ever gonna be a fix ???

 

Try the following:

1. Open Hitman Pro

2. Click the "Risk Reduction" box

3. Click "Keystroke Encryption"

4. Click "Disable".
