Web Access Protection slowing down initial site load

Long time user of SS8, figured I'd give SS9 a whirl before my license runs out.

 

I've noticed that with everything set to default, Web Access Protection is increasing site loading time by up to several seconds. Whilst it doesn't sound too bad, throughout the day this can add up.

 

I've tried every combination and toggle of everything under Web Access and Anti-Phishing, but the only way to get the initial site load to be instant is to disable Web Access Protection. This was never an issue with SS8.

 

Details:

Windows 10 x64 (all updates)

ESS 9 (v: 9.0.141.0 vs: 12371)

Chrome 45.0.2454.101 m

Edge 20.10240.16384.0

 

Tested trying to load amazon.co.uk.

Web Access Protection on : load time 4 seconds and change.

Web Access Protection off : load time 1 second or less.

We have already released a newer build of v9 in some countries and the rest of the world will follow soon.

There were no reports of such issue from the countries where we released v9, so please wait a bit till we release it in your country as well and report back in case the issue persists with the newer version as well.
