Recommended Posts

Just like the attached screenshot, each item always displayed three times in scan log.

It seems no necessary.

This is a known issue from previous versions and we hope it will be eventually fixed in the final version 7.

After using Eset Smart Security 6 and 7 beta both detected 109 threats after choosing "delete" only move 18 of them to quarantine and others let them free, tried that many times and same happening

PS: both version was up-to-date

Now switching to another Anti-virus, and I hope that you would do better in v7 full version.. Eset really needs a better improvement

You must have made something wrong. If a threat is detected, there will be no problem to delete or clean the file providing that Windows or another application isn't using the file exclusively. Please create a new topic where we can troubleshoot it further. Although there's still room for improvements, ESET products are one of the best in terms of detection and performance.

Marcos' post is absolutely correct. Its backed by tests and reviews web wide. If the malware in question isnt being removed, switch to safe mode and rescan. It could be open in other programs. If that doesnt work... pull your drive and plug it up to another machine to scan isolated. This is standard removal etiquette.
