youzi 0 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 up to now, some functions of network protection still don't work(see the attachment). But there is no any issue within the vmware work station. I respectively installed three version of windows 10, they are windows 10 home 32 bit, windows 10 pro 32 bit and windows 10 pro 64 bit. and then I installed eset smart security 9.0 beta on the virtual machine, all the functions work well. I tried to install eset personal firewall manually, but I was notified that "Unable to add required functioanality, error:access denied".

Also run the following commands with administrator rights: sc query epfw sc query epfwlwf Is the state of both drivers "running"?
youzi 0 Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 Eset 9.0 can run normally on windows 7，and I find that the ESET Personal Firewall was listed in local connection（right click the local connection and select attribution），so I tried to install the service manually and expected to resolve the issue. but failed.
