kriszaxar 0
Hello, We would like to know if there is a way to submit false positive reports to ESET instead of samples@eset.com
Administrators Marcos 4,926 Posted September 20, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 20, 2015 There's no other way. I assume you've already received a response that the detection is correct but without knowing the detection name I can't tell for sure.
kriszaxar 0
Hello, That is the problem, we have not received a response from ESET about the detection. We have sent other false positive reports to Panda and McAfee which they white listed in few days. We would be appreciated if ESET could process this case soon. Please advise on what I should do since I don't seem to get a response from samples@eset.com
Administrators Marcos 4,926 Posted September 21, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 21, 2015 Perhaps it's not a false positive, maybe PUA or whatever. Please pm me the email address that you emailed the report from.
Administrators Marcos 4,926 Posted September 22, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 22, 2015 It's a potentially unwanted application which is detected. The detection is correct, it's not a false positive. Detection of potentially unwanted application. It's at user's discretion whether he or she wants to have such applications installed. Since this forum does not serve as a means for disputing detections, we'll draw this topic to a close.
