bbahes 29 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Hi! Is it possible to protect agent from uninstall on clients with admin privileges like security products?
ESET Moderators TomasP 319 Posted September 18, 2015 ESET Moderators Posted September 18, 2015 Hello, As of ERA 6.2, the Agent is protected by the Endpoint's Self-defense feature, so that it can't be manipulated with.

I was able to uninstall agent even with this protection on. If I try to uninstall security product it asks for password I set in policy.

ESET Staff MichalJ 434 Posted April 26, 2016 ESET Staff Posted April 26, 2016 What is important to say is, that you need to use the newest (6.2 / 6.3) builds of Endpoint, with the updated hips module. You can configure password to protect installation since ERA 6.3 (just create a new agent policy and configure password protected configuration in "advanced settings").
