"What is the best way of getting them as they come" ...............what are/is them? Your Microsoft updates will take place thru Windows update. Eset will only get involved to notify you of updates that need to be installed. hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3192/ Use the tools at your disposal------"Help" built in to your product and "support/knowledgebase" at the ESET website. You asked about a vulnerability scan - i have had BitDefender & Mcafee & they had a "vulnerability scanner" - which picked up latest from MS as well as browser & other updates.
