colsztyn 0 Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 I am trying to create a local installer package (msi) that I can locally install on end user or VM desktops. They currently have an earlier version of ESET 5.x and I am installing the newest version of ESET 5.x. I have created a new msi installer package with the integrated configuration file but when I run it on a workstation it brings up the dialog box to repair or remove the previous version. I would like to be able to do this all in one shot, as in launch the msi and uninstall the prior version and then install the new version. Is this possible and if so what do I need to do differently, having already used the ERAS to create the local installer package with integrated config? (Yes, we use ERAS but are having some issues with some of the VMs in particular requiring Simple File Sharing to be enabled for Veeam backups, which seems to break the ability to deploy to these machines) Thanks in advance for your help.
