ESET only catches spam when I tell it to rescan all messages

Outlook 2010 32 bit on a win 7 64 bit with ESET Smart security 8

 

ESET is not catching spam, but if I click the ESET menu item and tell it to rescan already scanned messages, it catches them and moves to the junk folder just fine.

 

The automatic scan isn't working I guess, but as far as I know it is set up properly.  What have I missed?

Are they fresh messages or you've had them in inbox for a longer time?
