rugk 397
Today EMS detected Duet as Android/Locker.EJ during an on-charger-scan. It's the official app from Google Play and hasn't received an update in the last days, so it's very strange that it's now detected. From a description of the same thread (group) I've read the malware should block access to the device. However nothing like this occurred. So is this a false-positive? Edit: Link to this thread sent to ESET labs. Edited August 24, 2015 by rugk
Cistoge 0
I had exactly the same problem yesterday with chomp SMS. Telling ESM to remove the problem resulted in deinstallation of chomp SMS. I then reinstalled it from Google Play store, but the warning about Locker.EJ reappered immediately.
rugk 397
Okay, they confirmed me that it's a false positive: It is a false positive of our scanner and this issue will be fixed in our next signature update.
