Error installing era 6.1 against MySQL

I keep getting errors in my log which i cant do anything with.

 

this is the bottom of the log. Any help would be much appreciated since installing era 6.1 is already starting to be a nightmare at this moment.

It errors after the installer with code: 1603 as error.

 

the server is a 2008 SBS server which had era 5.1 installed before. i completely uninstalled this version before starting this setup.
